About Dr. Kimm

"In 1963 I was lucky enough to travel to the United States to study at Southeast Missouri State College.  It was here that my American life began.  I was a pioneer of Korean martial arts in the U.S. and have served in several official capacities; such as, President of the World Han Mu Do Association, Amateur Athletic Union Regional Director, USA Taekwondo Martial Art Commissioner, Chairman of the History Committee for the United States Taekwondo Grandmaster Society, Hall of Fame inductee by the Taekwondo Times magazine and United States Taekwondo Grandmaster Society, President of the American Hapkido Association, Secretary General of the World Kuk Sool Association, and was an inductee in the Hall of Fame of the Martial Art International by Y. K. Kim.  I also serve as the Senior Advisor and co-chairman of the Promotional Committee for the Tiger Rock Taekwondo International.  I have published nine books on martial arts and philosophy, and written numerous magazine articles.  In 2012 I received the 10th Dan Black Belt from the Korea Kido Association."
